Development[edit]
Saif Ali Khan started a new production house in October 2018 to co-produce Jawaani Jaaneman with Jay Shewakramani.[2] Saif wanted the avant-garde project in an alternative genre. In a statement, he said, "this is going to be as exciting as it gets. Jay and I have been planning this for a while now and with Jawaani Jaaneman, we found just the right project to produce together.”[3] Alaia Furniturewala making her debut is playing his daughter.[4][5] Tabu has been cast in an interesting role.[6] Khan lost weight to fit into the character of a forty year old father.[7]Filming[edit]
The filming began in the second week of June 2019 with principal photography in London.[8][9][10] Alaia F finished filming first schedule in August 2019. The film was eventually wrapped up on 24 August 2019, the occasion of Janmashtami.[11]Soundtrack
This film’s soundtrack is composed by Gourov-Roshin, Prem-Hardeep and Tanishk Bagchi is the guest composer recreating Jawaaani Jaaneman title song. Lyrics are written by Shabbir Ahmed and Irshad Kamil. Music rights are acquired by Tips Music Films.Marketing, Release and Budget[edit]
